This notice summarises how Guest Connecta (“Guest Connecta”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). It supports, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
What we collect
- First name, email address and phone number
- Business name (optional)
- Basic technical information such as the page a form was submitted from and, where available, the advertisement or campaign that brought you to our site (source and UTM parameters)
- For clients: branding assets, website content and access details you choose to provide during onboarding
Why we collect it
- To prepare and send you your free Business Website Growth Plan
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss our services with you
- To deliver a project or product you have engaged us for
- To send relevant follow-up communication, which you can opt out of at any time
- To keep our records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as Brevo (email and SMS communications), our website hosting provider and our payment processor. We do not store your card details ourselves. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information or stop processing it
- Object to direct marketing and unsubscribe at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have handled your information unlawfully
