Guest Connecta (“Guest Connecta”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through guestconnecta.co.za, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you request our free Business Website Growth Plan or enquire about a package:
- Your first name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business name (optional)
- Basic technical information such as which page you submitted the form from and, where available, which advertisement or campaign brought you to our site (source and UTM parameters)
If you go on to become a client, we may also collect additional information needed to deliver your project, such as branding assets, website content, and access details you choose to provide during onboarding.
How we use your information
- To prepare and send you your free Business Website Growth Plan
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss our services with you
- To deliver a project you have engaged us for
- To send relevant follow-up communication about growing your business online, which you can opt out of at any time
- To keep our records, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our website and services
We process your information on the basis that you have given it to us for a specific purpose (requesting your growth plan or a quotation), that it is necessary to perform a contract with you, or that we have a legitimate business interest in following up on a genuine enquiry.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent needed for them to do so, including:
- Brevo, our email and SMS communications platform, used to send you your growth plan and any follow-up communication you have not opted out of
- Our website hosting provider, who stores the data submitted through this site
- A payment processor, if you go on to pay a deposit or invoice — we do not store your card details ourselves
- Analytics or advertising platforms (such as Google or Meta), only if and once we enable them on this site, and only in aggregate or pseudonymised form
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies needed to remember where a visitor came from (for example, which advert they clicked) so we can measure what is working. We do not use these to build advertising profiles about you outside our own systems.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and follow up on your enquiry, and client project information for as long as required to deliver and support your project and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to what we are legally required to retain.
Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information or stop processing it
- Object to your information being used for direct marketing, and unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have handled your information unlawfully

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for business owners and decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
